Dungla / Village meetings and a shrine committee
Welcome to Dungla
Dungla is a small place in Chittorgarh district, and the records we found are modest ones: a registered committee for Elwa Mata, awareness meetings in its villages, and a watershed plan that names them. A wider Chittorgarh performance is added as district context. If you live here, you will know more than these records do.
THE PLACES. THE PEOPLE. THE PRIDE.
Its villages show up in the records for ordinary, useful reasons: people meeting in person and planning around land and water.
Discover the places, flavours and traditions that give this city its character.
From elsewhere in Chittorgarh district, a February 2026 report on a literature festival in Chittorgarh records folk singing and a puppet presentation by visiting artists. It is district context, not a Dungla tradition.

Read source ↗A Panchayat Samiti Dungla project report for 2010 to 2015 describes the Garawala watershed in Dungla block, naming villages including Palod, Pirana, Deoli and Kishan Kareri. These are block villages, not sites in Dungla town, and the report is an old one.
Read source ↗A CUTS programme report lists village meetings at Kishan Kareri and Mangalawada on 13 November 2020, and a Dungla block meeting on 18 December 2020. It records dated meetings, not what farmers do today.
